The Cozy Cottage Kitchen Remodel brings warmth and charm to a beloved Tudor home in Tacoma’s historic 6th Ave District. This project was crafted with the intent to enhance the home's inviting atmosphere while incorporating timeless, cottage-inspired details.

Design Concept: Drawing inspiration from traditional cottage aesthetics, our design emphasizes comfort and visual richness. By blending classic elements with thoughtful textures and materials, we created a space that is both functional and filled with character.

Key Features:

• Beadboard and Quartz Stone: The backsplash features a captivating mix of beadboard and quartz stone, adding layers of texture and interest to the kitchen.

• Quartz Floating Ledge: A bespoke quartz floating ledge behind the range not only serves as a practical space for essentials but also adds a decorative element that enhances the depth and visual appeal of the range area.

• Custom Cabinets: Traditional-style cabinets in a custom Sherwin-Williams green offer a charming contrast to the surrounding elements, finished in a flush inset style for a classic look.

• Unlacquered Brass Accents: The use of unlacquered brass hardware, outlets, and tipping rail adds a touch of vintage elegance and complements the warm, rich tones of the space.

• Refinished Hardwood Floors: The hardwood floors have been refinished to deepen their rich red tones, providing a striking contrast with the green cabinetry and enhancing the room's warmth.

• Mural Wallpaper: In the dining area, a focal point of mural wallpaper has become the centerpiece of conversation, adding a unique and artistic touch to the space.

Challenges and Solutions: A key challenge was integrating modern functionality with the traditional cottage aesthetic. We addressed this by carefully selecting materials and design elements that respect the home's historic charm while introducing contemporary touches that enhance usability.
