Gold Accents & how they fit into a space

Here at Aurora, we love elegance & simplicity (if you couldn’t tell). So, it’s no surprise we love gold and love fitting it into spaces that need a little something more! Gold adds a touch of elegance and warmth.

When designing your space, you really want to focus on details that complement each other and colors rather than ones that compete. Same goes with gold! Gold pairs well with jeweled tones and neutrals, such as, Emerald Green, Amethyst, White, & Cream.

Cottage Kitchen

In this kitchen remodel, we used gold hardware and gold accents on the shelf rails to bring in warmth. It pairs really well with the paint color of the cabinets and cream on the walls.

Too much of any color could be overwhelming, so you always want to make sure you find the right balance in your space. Whether it be a light fixture, hardware, shelving, or something as simple as wall decor or a vase.

Mood Boards.

Mood boards are used ALOT in Interior Design. Something as simple as sitting down and scrolling Pinterest and building one out can really help with your overall vision and seeing all your design choices come together! In this one here, the light fixture fits perfectly with the overall color choices!

Hopefully this helps give some insight if you’re wanting to add gold into your space! It really is such a good choice in design colors! Follow us on Instagram to see more of projects and get more helpful tips on design!
