Let’s chat about storage in your design

When putting together your design vision, of course the visual aspect is important, but so is the non-visual - storage being one of them! Storage is important in your design because it enhances functionality, promotes organization, and maximizes space. As well as keeping your space clutter free! We’ve put together a few of our favorite storage options below.

  1. Drawers

Drawers can be used in so many different ways in design. There are alot of options and accessories to utilize drawers in any way you’d need them. From spice drawers, to utensil holders, compartments, and more! Drawers offer easy access to items, better visualization, and use the maximum amount of space for items.

2. Open Shelving

Open Shelving is such a good option, because of course, shelving is a classic organization option, but open shelving add dimension and depth into a space. There are many material options for it as well such as wood, iron, steel, glass, and more. With open shelving, you can also mix decor in to add your aesthetic with it!

3. In Wall Shelving

This option isn’t used as often, but we promise, it’s great! Especially if you have a space with an old charm feel, it can be a great way to add storage without taking up any additional space. In the photo below, we added an in wall option as a spice rack and thought it worked well with the Old World feel. With a touch of brass and wood, it went exceptionally well with the “Messenger Bag” green from Sherwin Williams.
